K&N 'RACE SPECIFIC' HIGH-FLOW FILTER
K&N Engineering announced the release its new 'race specific' high-flow filter for all 2008 SUZUKI GSX1300R Hayabusa racing motorcycles. "The K&N 'race specific' high-flow air filter is designed to fit specifically into the OE air filter assembly," described Powersports Brand Manager Johnny Jump. He told us the pleated media is designed to provide a large filtration area that offers a much greater airflow. These filters are "performance designed to provide increased airflow, resulting in increased horsepower and torque," he continued, and an injection-molded frame "ensures high-quality and precise attention to detail." It will be necessary to make fuel management modifications to obtain increased performance, Jump added.

PRO CYCLE XLT DROP TAIL LIFTS
Direct Lift Brand Manager Lance Jones reported the company has a series of four Pro Cycle lifts designed for motorcycles, ATVs and more. This line includes the Pro Cycle XLT Drop Tail, which measures 93 inches long, it comes with side extensions and a diamond plate surface, Jones told us. It is powder-coated for longer wear and protection against rust and corrosion, he explained, and a vise is included to secure the front wheel during service. A wheeled dolly is also said to be included for easier movement and an optional 1,000 lb. scissor jack is reportedly available to raise the front or rear of the bike for easier wheel service. The standard length can be extended for longer bikes and sport vehicles, plus it is air operated/foot pedal operated for easier and safer user operation, Jones concluded.
