MOTO GP TWIN CANS

NEW PISTONS FOR YAMAHA ROAD STAR

Wiseco Piston offers its new piston kit for the Yamaha Road Star and Road Star Warrior. The kits include two pistons, ring sets, piston pins and retainer clips, reports Wiseco. K&N AIR FILTER FOR SUZUKI GSXR600/R750

K&N Engineering has just released a new high-flow, lifetime replacement air filter, SU-7506 for the 2006 and 2007 Suzuki GSXR600 and the 2006 and 2007 Suzuki GSXR750, states spokesperson John Jump. He tells us the replacement filter is custom designed to fit into the existing factory air box and features a unique pleated design for a higher volume of airflow. “The SU-7506 has four arch-shaped grooves at the bottom and a hole at the top designed to fit the contours of the air box and small fingers on the air box lid hold the filter down to also provide an optimum seal,” said Jump. The stand is reportedly virtually unbreakable and is designed with rubber feet and rubber sleeve on the contact area to prevent scratching or marking while preventing any slippage. NEW PIPES FROM VANCE & HINES

Vance & Hines announces five new exhaust pipes for Harley-Davidson motorcycles. According to the company, the Big Radius 2-into-1 Harley Softail “incorporates blue-proof technology across the entire length of the pipe” and includes provisions for factory 02 sensors. The new Straightshots HS Slip-Ons for the 2000-2006 Harley Softail are finished in show-quality chrome and include baffles, mounting hardware, plus easy-to-understand instructions, adds Vance & Hines. Other exhaust systems reportedly include the Softail Duals for Harley Softail, the Big Radius for 2007 Harley Softail and the Pro Pipe BP for 2007 Harley Touring models. DURFEE BRINGS BACK ITS GIRDER

Durfee Enterprises has brought back its “legendary Durfee Girder, the premiere custom motorcycle girder style fork of the seventies,” states spokesperson Paul Durfee. He adds, the new Durfee Girder is constructed of 4130 seamless aircraft alloy tubing, TIG welded to the most exacting specifications and is available in either round or square tubing with lengths from 2 inches under to 20 inches over in triple-plate chrome or powder-coated finishes. The standard configuration incorporates a brake tab on the left side for use with one of the four kits to mount the Brembo 4 Piston, 1984-1999 HD, 2000-present HD and Performance Machine's original 125x4R caliper, explains Durfee. NEW FORMOTION CLOCKS FOR HARLEY-DAVIDSON

Formotion Products introduces its new Stem and Fork Cover Clocks series and the 39mm and 57mm mounts are specifically designed for Harley-Davidson Softails and Dynas. Crafted with 304 stainless steel polished to a show-chrome finish, the stem and fork mounts easily slip over the nut and are secured by set screws, said spokesperson Pete Harvey. He added, each stem and fork mounts comes with either a genuine Formotion black- or white-face low-profile clock that features a three-year replaceable battery, is waterproof tested and certified to three ATM (100 ft.). For Road King enthusiasts, the company has also produced a swiveling Fork Lock Clock that comes with a backlit clock and the assembly swivels to allow easy access to the fork lock, explained Harvey. EVIL MAGNETIC OIL FILTER

Evil Engineering's new magnetic filter is adaptable to any Harley oil system, explained spokesperson Naomi Simpson. It can be installed before or after the stock filter and provides maximum filtration performance with minimal flow restriction, she added. The filtration element was reportedly specially designed to eliminate the potential for wash off. “Just clean and reuse with every oil change,” said Simpson. FRESH INTAKE/EXHAUST FROM SUPERTRAPP

SuperTrapp Industries is introducing what the firm calls “the first complete, all-in-one, easy-to-install, high-performance intake and exhaust kit.” The 3-part Super-Pak includes a SuperTrapp exhaust, FiControl digital fuel injection control unit made by SuperTrapp and the firm's ProFilter. The company asserts the package provides improved drivability right out of the box, yet allows for custom modification. NEW PERFORMANCE FROM D&D

D&D Performance Enterprises is shipping dyno-tuned Boarzilla and Fat Cat 2-into-1 exhaust pipe systems for the all-new 2007 H-D Twin Cam 96 and 110 Screamin' Eagle engines equipped in the Harley touring line, according to D&D, which notes the pipes include pre-installed stock factory oxygen sensor ports for Harley's new oxygen sensors. The Boarzilla and Fat Cat pipes are unchanged in appearance, with modifications to the inside to accommodate new Harley Twin Cam engines, D&D says. The pipes and slip-ons improve both torque and power, the company asserts, for the entire touring Harley line. And D&D claims it hasn't forgotten the rumble, plus it has encased the pipes in a full-wrap heat shield that keeps all discoloration from view.
